The FBI is currently investigating and observing numerous cyber-enabled and general frauds being conducted throughout the United States, including Maine. We will have a discussion regarding these trends and why the legal sector is such a desirable victim to scammers. Also, we’ll discuss best practices in how to avoid becoming a victim, how to protect your clients, as well as measures to take if you do find that you or your client has been victimized.
